Free LMS for 25 users ; suggested by Sanjay Nannaparaju

Sanjay is a very resourceful person.

Our PGDEL course faculty have equipped us with the right skills set, provided us the right hands-on experience, and turned us into effective E-Learning teachers.

Now, with their guidelines, and my focused efforts, I have created 3 Free LMSs.

You too can create an LMS at Educadium, and add up to 25 users for FREE.

Beneficially, this LMS is almost similar to our Moodle platform where we did our Project Work.

Check with their website for details, http://www.educadium.com/products.html

Good site for Instructional Design

DF 3 is going on in IGNOU PGDEL. Communities of practice. At least we were able to put up some respectable team work. Although Aakanksha Parmar was unable to contribute much and Kulwant Singh was out of station touring and was not accessible, Narendra Singh Dangi was in touch and did most of the work.

There were some questions. One lady, Aaradhya Srivastava, asked the following questions .

1. What are the differences in ID for educational and corporate training?
2. How can one deal with the challenges of ID in designing an online course?
3. Could you briefly explain the limitations of Behaviourism, cognitivism and constructivism theories?

While searching for the answer to the first question, I came to this very useful web site for instructional designers. Read, in leisure.

http://cammybean.kineo.com/2010/03/instructional-design-as-practice-in.html
and
http://www.elearnspace.org/Articles/InstructionalDesign.htm
you can start your TMA work based on this.

It starts with ' Define Instructional Design' to in-depth material.

DF 2 Future trends in LMS

One of the questions in DF 2 ( to be completed before 08.March.2012 ) was, ' What are the future trends on LMS ? ' . Google searched it. One website says, more than 70% of customers are dissatisfied with LMS.

Here is a wonderful web page on ' Future trends in LMS', with links to, more than 20 well researched articles, with quality information.
